Voting and Civic Engagement

This Guide builds on the resources found in the main Public and International Affairs guide. This guide focuses exclusively on resources for research on United States political affairs, and should be used in conjunction with the PIA guide.

This guide identifies collections that contain political and related civics material. These represent politicians at the local, state, and federal levels, as well as personal and organizational papers documenting political activity or events. Content includes presidential campaigns and elections, voting initiatives, legislation and its impacts, key communications, and foreign propaganda. A significant number are specific to Southeast North Carolina and the state at large, though they also contain national and international sources.
