Congress.gov is the official website for U.S. federal legislative information. The site provides access to accurate, timely, and complete legislative information for Members of Congress, legislative agencies, and the general public.

Congress.gov is developed and maintained by the Library of Congress using data originated and owned by the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives.  Offices involved in supplying legislative information to Congress.gov include the Secretary of the Senate, the Senate Sergeant at Arms, the Senate Recording Studio, the Office of the Clerk of the House, the House Recording Studio, the Government Publishing Office, the Congressional Budget Office, and the Congressional Research Service.
