Assessment and Dashboards

Library Assessment

By creating a culture of assessment, the faculty and staff at Randall Library seek to show how the library impacts students, faculty, and staff. By working collaboratively with units across campus and within the library, the library seeks to evaluate and improve library services, resources, and spaces to support the institution’s vision.

The Library Assessment unit seeks to collaborate with library faculty and staff to design and track meaningful measures of the Library's impact on students and faculty. The unit helps library staff plan and conduct assessment projects related to their work, collect and analyze data about library systems and services, share findings with library staff to inform decision-making, and study how users interact with library resources and services to understand their needs and preference.

The dashboards will show how many people are using the library's services and the types of services they are using.
