UNCW Open Access Champions

During International Open Access Week (October 20-26), UNCW Library and Research & Innovation recognize UNCW scholars who exhibit an extraordinary commitment to the spirit of freely available scholarship and open research practices. Faculty, staff, and students are eligible for this recognition.

Past champions have demonstrated varied examples of their commitment to openness, representative of disciplinary differences in scholarly practice, such as: open access publications, performances, exhibits, etc.; lab or course curricula focused on open scholarly practices; involvement in funded open data collection; and editorial responsibilities with open access scholarly venues.

We are proud to celebrate these scholars for their efforts toward a more open future.
