Getting Started

EndNote Basic, formerly EndNote Web, can be used on its own, or in conjuction with EndNote Desktop, which is a more robust application available for purchase.  If you create your account on-campus, you will have access to a wider variety of bibliographic styles, as well as other features. To see the differences between EndNote Basic and EndNote Desktop, please see the comparison chart from EndNote. Check the box reading I Have Web of Knowledge to see the features for campus affiliates.

To get started, create a free Endnote Basic account.

Roaming Access

In order to retain your campus affiliation and additional features, you must log in on-campus every 12 months to re-establish your affiliation with UNCW and to restore access to styles, filters and online connections. If your account was set up at a different institution, contact ISI to change your affiliation.
