World War II in Southeast North Carolina and Beyond

Manuscript Collections

These collections represent the stateside experiences of those who served, took part in, or lived through the war in Southeastern North Carolina.

These collections represent the war experiences beyond Southeastern North Carolina of those who served in, were directly involved with, or lived through the events of the war in the rest of the United States and internationally.

These collections represent a broad scope of general materials related to the war--such as military documents, newspapers, publications, photographs, and memorabilia--not specific to an individual person or family's war experience.
