Indigenous Peoples of Southeast North Carolina

A guide to Randall Library Resources for Studying the History of Indigenous Peoples of Southeast North Carolina and Beyond

Summary

Librarians at the Center for Southeast North Carolina Archives and History can help you find historical resources even not held at Randall Library. The State Library of North Carolina and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, for example, have many government publications and oral histories relevant to the history of indigenous peoples. Of special note under the "Newspapers" tab is Connee Brayboy's Carolina Indian Voice of Robeson County, digitized by the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center and housed at digitalnc.org.
