UNCW Library and UNCW Research & Innovation join a select group of academic organizations in the Authors Alliance Partner Program
Through this program, UNCW benefits from the legal expertise of Authors Aliiance's staff and their experience working on authors rights, fair use, and open access initiatives. In the past, Authors Alliance has worked with partners to bolster local outreach and training, give feedback on proposed policies or initiatives affecting authors, and, in some cases, offer consultations with individual authors where additional expertise is needed. In turn, UNCW Library and Research & Innovation joins peers like UC Berkeley Library, Harvard Library, MIT Libraries, Princeton University Library, and others in investing in Authors Alliance's work to develop quality resources, advocacy, and tools that support a more open and equitable information ecosystem.
