For Students

Is saving your assignment a challenge?  Need to borrow equipment to make your project?  Having trouble starting your youtube channel or podcast?

We can help.  Walk in to the MakerStudio during our open hours and ask a friendly staff member for a consultation.  We'll work with you on any project:  Personal, Professional, or Academic.

For Staff

Assistance from MakerStudio Staff is available if you are exploring tasks beyond your skillset and want to learn.  Additional support for equipment, emerging technologies, and software is offered.  We can train in small groups, one-on-one, or even take a break and have a team-building workshop retreat for you and your colleagues.

For Faculty

Engage your students by involving more project-based learning in your course.  The MakerStudio offers support and demonstrations for classes in a variety of equipment and software.  Want to assign a video project or explore VR in your classroom but don't know where to start?  We can help through every step of the way, from planning your lesson, creating a rubric, and even leading your class to learn the skills they need to execute in-depth assignments.

As part of the Scholarly Research Services team, we are here to assist with utilization and application of emerging technologies in your research.  This includes helping with visualization in both digital and physical formats in a variety of mediums.  We help set realistic expectations of technology and can consult on utilization and application, providing and understanding of what is feasible for your goals.
