2022 Banned Books Read-In is Thursday the 22nd from 11 to 12:30 in the Sherman Hayes Gallery!
Please join us and the students of Michelle Manning’s English 382 (Ways of Teaching Literature) class for a reading of selections from banned and challenged books. All attendees are also welcome to read selections from banned books that have been meaningful to you, if you would like to more actively participate!
To reflect on the current crisis of censorship in the United States, Manning’s students have also created a timeline of notable events in book banning and censorship over the last year.
